Hi everybody, i have been working on a website for a bit, to be a kind of official Lynne Ewing site. It will include a forum for fans, all book info, and other things I have been in contact with Lynne and she has said she is interested in helping me with information for my website, so my question is.. Do you have any questions for her? Whoa....I haven't been here in ages....
Okay, a couple of questions;
What exactly is the Daughters of the Moon Bind-up?
Also, is book 13 still on? Any little tidbits we can hear about (and wow I'm shameless, lol)
Does the Sisters of Isis series exist in the same universe as DotM?
By the way, the site's gorgeous.

Tenn...I can answer that for you. Book 13 IS the DOTM bind up.
Also, I doubt Sisters of Isis correlate with DOTM because I believe DOTM is coming to a complete end. Also, Sisters of Isis is set up in Egypt. I don't think the daughters will be going to Egypt any time soon.

I'm pretty sure it is, LL. It's the bind up, which I'm guessing is "binding" the entire series. Plus, she probably wants to focus more on her new SOI series and anything else she's working on. It does suck though that DOTM will be ending.

Somebody on here posted that the publishers said the bind up is a combination of two books and in this case it's going to be the first two books of DOTM, if that's true it better not be the last DOTM book because that doens't resolve anyhting.

I thought the bindup would be a re-issue myself. What I meant about the universes is are the SoI in the same reality as DotM? Not necessarily for cross-over purposes, but would the magics correlate?

Tenn, I still doubt that they'll correlate. I bet the only similarity is that there are powerful girls in there that have to fight against some evil and that they have powers. They won't be fighting an Atrox...so I truly doubt it.
About the bind-up, that seems weird to me that it would be the first two books, considering it shouldn't take that long to get that out in stores. It's been like two years. I really do think this is the last one unfortunately.

I'm still not postive that a bind up really is the combination of two or more books but I'm more inclined to believe that for two reasons. After a little research I found out that when books get combined it is called a bind up (and it helps sell more copies of lesser known series or authors) and beause Lynne told people book 13 wouldn't be the last book after the bind up was announced. I'm still skeptical though because (like ND said) it shouldn't take that long to make two books into one and it kind of seems that Lynne wants to finish DOTM and focus more on her new series.

On another site Someboyd posted their letter from Lyn and she said Book 13 wouldn't be the least book but she wants to start to bring the series to an end.

I agree, fifteen would allow each of them to get another book and it would end with Jimena and since she's not a Daughter it still follows the pattern. It kind of seems that Lynne might have planned it that way, just a thought.

i agree. I think 15 will be the last book- or numerical, it should be.
I think that all the loose ends need to be tied up with each character. and book 13 can't be the last book it is Vanessa's, simply because the story isn't focused on her right now. Serena is the key, Catty translated the Scroll. the Story is with them- not Vanessa.
