hello people!

im new here, and i just wanted to start a thread where we could discuss about the 12th book, "The Becoming". well, what do you guys think?

actually, i think the title's like that because either she BECOMES the new mentor or she BECOMES evil. but i think it's pretty obvious that she's going to be evil, 'cos in Lynne Ewing's interview, she said that "something will happen to Tianna that would make the fans dislike her even more"..

and i think someone from the old board mentioned that Tianna might be a daughter of Lambert and Aura, since they were all itnroduced in the 6th book..

to others out there, can someone tell me the exact lines that Maggie said about the successor? and can anyone tell me Lynne Ewing's address where i can send fan mails? thank you very much for your time, people! really appreciate it!

yes, I tink she's evil,but I don't think she's Lambert's daughter. I think Lambert is Catty's father. I mean, it makes perfect sense. her father is a powerful member of the inner circle. That would fit Lambert. also, remember the memory Stanton showed them of his father w/ the scroll to convince them that it was rightfully his? Well, lambert would most likely have been there, too, since he was the father's friend and Stanton's guardian. (I don't remember if they mentioned him there or not). So, it could easily have been misinterpreted, especially since they didn't know he was Catty's father, that Stanton, not Catty, was the heir when really it was Lambert all along, not Stanton's father.

[glow=brown,2,300]Lambert and Aura couldn't be Tianna's parents because they were killed. At that point in time Lambert was trapped in Stanton's memories and Aura was only a spirit somewhere.[/glow]

Lambert can't be Catty's father. Because Catty is going to meet him in Nefadus or whatever it's called, she can't meet some spirit. And Lambert was in love with Aurua not with Catty's mother.

One thing to point out: Maybe Aura possesed Catty's mother at the time, and they got funky. Not sure on that one. Another thing, when Lynne says something will happen to her that will make us hate her even more, it could mean she could become the mentor too. Because we all hate her, and if she did become the mentor we would all be outraged because we think she doesn't deserve it at all.

That crossed my mind, but it would be a huge assumption that all of us would hate her. Theres a handful of people who love her and Lynne's words kind've sounded like the world would hate her. Kind've like how the world hate Umbridge for HP5.

Cause the world hates Umbridge. She's So EVIL! What she did to Harry made me want to hop into the book, grab her wand, and send her to her doom. *EVIL snicker* But to be back on subject, I don't think Tianna will go EVIL. I sorta like to capitalize the EVIL's.
