I think it would be reallly cool to have, like ppl were saying, books w/ Michael or Collin or something as the main one, and that way we could finally see their pics!! But anyway, I think Jimena is totally the mentor, and I think Tianna will turn evil.

well, think about it. First off, the title itself. The Becoming. she must become something. Secondly, the biggest argument for ppl is that she woulnd't join the Atrox that killed her family. She doesn't have to be on the side of hte Atrox you know. She could be just evil in her own right, working against both sides or something. And you have to admit there is something mysterious about her. Like how she is said to be the most beautiful and goddesslike of all of them, and she's so athletic and stuff, like she's too perfect. And she's the only one so far w/o a connection to the dark side, which is also odd. And how there is no explanation for her powers, and you knwo they're not from Selene, so that's odd also. And I don't know, just random vibes I get from her character, and how Lynne Ewing wondered if the girls who didn't like her had an inkling of her future, it just makes sense.

Tianna is the mentor...But to some other post's question, Jimena doesn't need to be convinced she was a Daughter because she still has her memories!!

TIANNA is the mentor because you said it yourself... her descriptions are always "beautiful" and "perfect" and the most "goddeslike".. possibly because she IS an ancient goddess that will replace maggie.. =p

That's what I meant, I was saying that she was the mentor. Maggie and Tianna are very alike in some ways, Making Tianna more the description of the mentor. Let's just hope she doesn't send them all to their doom.

Tianna no longer knows who to trust when good and evil forces fight over her and rush her toward an uncertain, but crucial, destiny--toward either the moon goddess, Selene, or the ancient evil known as the Atrox.
this is what barnes and noble has for the becoming, so im thinking that tianna is the mentor because they cant wait til jimenas next book to have a mentor
