she was thriteen in book 5, time's gone on in the books since then so it's still very possible that she's the same girl

no barely a year has gone by in the books, the Daughters are sophomores and so are the Sons. Maddie cant go from 13 to 15 in like 5 or 6 months

Once again thank you Darkgoddes, I agree with you on that. I bet Lynne hadnt even come up with the idea for the Sons books yet so why should she introduce a character in book 5 who dosnet even have a name and no importance and then make her a major character years later in another series, not likely. And Maddie said that she started believing in the supernatural when she saw a ghost when she was a child.

I know everyone has the right to there own opinion but some stuff is just common sense and to easy to figure out. Like when people where saying Vanessa was going to be the new mentor, when all signs pointed at Jimena Lynne practically told us in that interview that jimena had a big change coming up. But people where still saying it was Vanessa she cant even control her power and from what I can tell plans on giving her powers up and people really exspected her to lead the Daughters?

in book 5 it never says the girl is 13, it does say "A young girl stood behind him, not more than fourteen." which means that the girl isn't older than 14.
book 5 takes place at the end of october in book 4 of the sons book it's christmas so it's been over a year, the girl from book 5 obviously had a birthday so she could very well be 15.
in book five the girl is wearing a cape, the first time sam meets maddie she's also wearing a cape. both girls have blonde hair and both girls believe in vampires and the super natural.
so it's still possible that maddie is the same girl from book 5
KOS: what does when maddies started believing in the supernatural have to do with anything? why would lynne bring in another character (maggie's daughter) who is supposed to have a big role into the last few books of a series she plans on ending? how likely is it that lynne would create such a minor character in book five that is so similar to a semi-major character in the son series?
both ideas are equally possible so it looks like we'll all just have to agree to disagree about this topic

Me too Darkgoddess. It just woundnt make sense.
And MM the reason I brought up the ghost thing is because that is what made her believe in the supernatural I think she would have said she encountered some strange guy in a cemetary. and Lynne probably would have put it in the book just to let us know it was the same girl.
Maddie is not the girl from book 5.

look at it this way, telling the reader that maddie is the girl from book 5 would in a way ruin that particular twist in theat sub plot so just because lynne didn't say it, doesn't mean it's not a possibility.
do you for sure know that maddie is not the girl from book 5? no you don't. you believe she isn't the girl from book 5 but it is possible that she is and there's more evidence to support that she is then that she isn't.
the truth is none of us know so nobody can make statments like "maddie is not the girl from book 5" we can only say what we believe which is not fact. i happen to disagree with both of you but that's just my opinion so like i said before it looks like we'll just have to agree to disagree on this topic.

First of all I can make whatever statement I want to All i was saying is that I'm sure Lynne would have dropped a hint that Maddie was the girl. Like I said before "Maddie Isnt the Girl from book 5 of the Daughters Series". And I know I'm right.

Like I said before "Maddie Isnt the Girl from book 5 of the Daughters Series". And I know I'm right. because obviously all the similarities between the girl from book five and maddie isn't a clue....yeah that makes real sense right there, but if you want to make statements that are based on your personal speculation and have no factual basis go for it. the fact remains that both theories are equally as possible and according to some that would be considered common sense. that's all i have to say and now i'm going to drop this like darkgoddess suggested and like i've been trying to do for several posts.
