If i could add something as an idea for the book, i would add (i'm sorry) an African American girl. Besides, Jimena (who is i think spanish), you just see white girls (no offense). I think it would be really good for the book cause it will bring more African American readers to her books too.

I am African American and I love these books. I don't think it general bothers me that the girl are white but that is just me. I think if the writting is good it shouldn't matter what race the girls are.

[glow=red,2,300]I agree with JAD. You don't have to have an African American in there to make it good. If the writings good, it doesn't matter.[/glow]

Oh you guys got it wrong. I'm not saying that it sux because they don't have african americans in the book. I think that since Jimena is gone, they should bring in another goddess WHO IS african american. I'm not saying b/c blacks aren't in there it's not cool. lol. one more goddess can't hurt lol. And whatever happened to Morgan?

okay, sorry if i make anyone mad, but why do you guys say "African American"? i'm definitely not racist, but it's like calling a white person "European American", isn't it? white people didn't all come from Europe and black people didn't all come from Africa! sorry, that's just my opinion. i just think people need to be equal for real.

I know what you mean! I just didn't want to offend anyone by calling black people black. I personally wouldn't find it offensive, but I know people who are very offended by that and I wanted to avoid an arguement.

I totally agree with Rowan. Although i'm black, i didn't want to offend any one by saying they should have a black person in it. Some people would find it offensive lol

personally, I don't think it matters. I mean, I don't think she's intentionally deciding, "Hmm, let's see what race I should make these girls", I think it just comes out however it comes out, and it doesn't bug me. Like I mean, I'm white, and that may make a difference, but when I make up characters, they usually are white, spanish, or maybe Asian, but it's not that I have anythign against black ppl or characters, they just aren't the first thing taht comes to my head.

I had an idea that i think everyone has thought of more or less we need to see what the necklets look like so why not put a necklets in every book toward the end of the series, that why we all get one and finely find out how they look
